You can also add sesame seed oil for frying. If you don’t have any vegan seaweed on hand then you can always substitute the crushed vegan seaweed with some crushed nuts or seeds like almonds or pumpkin or hemp seeds. To make it even more flavorful you can swap the dairy-free milk with almond or coconut milk.

Additionally, you could use gluten-free flour instead of plain all-purpose flour. No matter which type of flour you choose you to want to make sure it is light and not too dense as this will affect the texture once cooked.
