Does Dunkin Donuts Have Gluten-free Donuts?
Dunkin’ Donuts was testing out gluten-free donuts at select locations. These donuts had been certified gluten-free by the GFCO (Gluten-Free Certification Organization), and they were being rolled out nationally by the end of 2013!
These gluten-free donuts were made and packaged in dedicated gluten-free facilities. However, there is no guarantee that every location will carry these new items. So if you want to try one of these delicious treats, you’ll have to ask your local Dunkin’ Donuts store if they carry them.
You may not find any gluten-free donuts available at your local Dunkin’ stores. But if you call your local Dunkin’ store, they should be able to tell you if they carry these new gluten-free donuts.
Gluten-free Fudge Brownie
Dunkin’ Donuts released a gluten-free fudge brownie in 2018. It was a limited-time offer while supply lasted. However, it was quickly discontinued without explanation.
Based on the company’s track record, I suspect it won’t be long until we’ll see gluten-free options return to the menu.
A gluten-free fudge cookie was introduced in 2016. At the time, Dunkin said it had plans to introduce more gluten-free baked goods in 2017. Unfortunately, those plans never came to fruition.
As of July 2023, Dunkin doesn’t offer any gluten-free baked goods. But based on the recent introduction of a gluten-free fudgy brownie, I’m guessing it’s not done experimenting in the space.
Does Dunkin Have A Gluten-free Menu?
Dunkin doesn’t currently have any gluten-free menu items available. However, they do offer a variety of safe foods, including oatmeal, omelets, bagels, muffins, croissants, and donuts.
While it may seem like Dunkin has a safe gluten-free menu, there is still the possibility of gluten cross-contamination. You should be aware of this issue, especially if you are buying food online. Always look for products that are labeled “gluten-free”.
Avoid anything that says “may contain traces of aka gluten”, since this means that the product could potentially contain plenty of gluten.
Also, keep in mind that certain ingredients commonly used in baking, such as malt powder, malted barley, and malted wheat, are not necessarily safe for those with celiac disease. These ingredients can cause damage to the small intestine, which is why many people with celiac disease must strictly adhere to a gluten-free diet.
Are Dunkin Beverages Gluten-free Safe?
Dunkin Donuts offers a wide variety of iced coffee beverages, including lattes, cappuccinos, mochas, and espressos. However, they do not offer any gluten-free options. Instead, they recommend using oat milk, which is safe for those following a gluten-free diet.
To find out whether a specific beverage is gluten-free, Dunkin Donuts site and click on the Allergen/Ingredients link on the left side menu bar. Then, scroll down until you reach the section titled “Gluten-Free Products & Services.” Click on the “Allergy Information” tab and enter the beverage of interest.
You can also find out whether a specific product is gluten-free by visiting the Dunkin Donuts website and clicking on the Allergen / Popular Ingredients link on the left side of the screen.
Scroll down until you reach the “Products & Services” section and select the item of interest. On the right side of the screen, look for the “Gluten Free” label.
However, if you’re serious enough about avoiding contamination of gluten, you should probably skip Dunkin Donuts entirely and enjoy a much cheaper alternative, and gluten-free treat, at home. There are plenty of delicious gluten-free donut recipes available online, and here is one of my favorites for chocolate glazed donuts.

Conclusion
Dunkin’ Donuts isn’t necessarily the best option for those following a gluten-free diet. However, it is possible to eat at Dunkin’ Donuts without getting sick. You’ll need to ask your server questions ahead of time to find out whether any of the menu items are safe for you.
You should also talk to your server about ordering a gluten-free item off the menu. Some restaurants offer special menus that include gluten-free items. These menus usually come with a price tag attached, but they can save you a lot of hassle.
Make sure you tell your server about your dietary restrictions ahead of time so he or she knows what to recommend and avoid. Also, let them know if you have any allergies so they can prepare accordingly.
