The big question on everyone’s mind is “Does Just Egg taste like chicken eggs?” Well, I tested it for you and it does!

I made scrambled eggs, omelets and French toast with this vegan egg alternative and the smoothness and taste are comparable to that of regular eggs.

The texture of the watery mixture might make you think it won’t have much flavor, but don’t worry – the seasoning included helps out a lot, giving it an excellent taste.

Additionally, despite its wateriness, it cooked very well for each of my dishes. For some further authenticity, I added a little black salt and pepper when I served them.

I also did a bit of research to see if anyone had tried using Just Egg in baking as an egg substitute, but unfortunately, I could not find any reviews or success stories.

So while I can testify that Just Egg tastes just like chicken eggs in savory dishes, sadly it doesn’t seem suitable to use as an active ingredient in baking recipes yet.
